Cook the sweet potato: Wash the sweet potato and bake it in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 45–60 minutes, or until soft. You can also air fry or microwave it if you’re short on time.
Slice and add cheese: Once cooked, slice the sweet potato open and add generous slices or shreds of cheese.
Melt and serve: Let the heat from the potato melt the cheese, or return it to the oven or air fryer for a few minutes until gooey.
